PRIVATE WORKSHOPS
Do you want to customize your own private workshop or photo guide? Maybe set up a custom photo tour to a location you’ve always wanted to photograph? Or get personalized help and online mentoring for your editing? These are just some of the possibilities available with private mentoring & workshops.
We are delighted to offer private photography workshops and custom online mentoring sessions. These in-the-field workshops and online mentoring sessions offer you a unique experience for truly personalized instruction. They can be combined or purchased separately for total flexibility. Our private workshops are focused on the Eastern Sierra and Yosemite and are also available worldwide for adventurous souls wanting a custom outdoor photo experience. Online mentoring is via Zoom and also includes a video recording of the mentoring session for you to be able to watch as many times as you need to hone your new skills.
Brittany handles most private photography workshops and photoshop mentoring while Shawn handles any timelapse or drone workshop & mentoring requests. In-the-field private workshops can be anywhere in the world and we encourage you to dream big! Brittany & Shawn can also both be available together for custom requests. There are many reasons why you might want to consider having a private workshop and we’re here to help make it happen.
Private mentoring and workshops are the perfect way to get customizable personalized guiding and instruction.
They are an ideal way to help inspire your creative energy, elevate your photography skills, and take your post-processing to the next level. It’s also a great way to be effective with your time by having a guide who knows the area, the light, and conditions and can help you make the best use of your time when traveling for photography.
Private Workshops are great for beginners to advanced photographers alike. Since these experiences are fully customizable, we can tailor an amazing experience for you whether you’re wanting to learn the basics, or have help envisioning and planning out complex shots and alignments.
What Are the Details?
Private Workshop:
- Sunrise OR Sunset 4-hour In the Field Workshop - $550
- 2-hour processing session in person or Zoom Add On - $175
- Sunset & Night Sky 5-hour In the Field Workshop - $750
- 2-hour processing session in person or Zoom Add On - $175
- Sunrise and Sunset 6-hour In the Field Workshop with 3 hours at sunrise and 3 hours at sunset - $895
- 2-hour processing session in person or Zoom Add On - $175
- Additional Hours - $100 an hour
- Additional Participants - $150 per person up to 3 people
- Travel Fees may apply
Online Mentoring:
- Online Zoom mentoring with recorded video of the session - $100 an hour
- Pre-purchase 5 hours Online Mentoring - $444
- 1 Year Subscription - $75 a month or $750 a year (2 months free!) gets you a 1-hour Zoom mentoring session once a month for ongoing support as you grow and mature as a photographer & creative.
How do I book a workshop?
Before booking please contact us directly to discuss your hopes and vision and what dates you’re interested in booking.
We serve the Eastern Sierra and Yosemite primarily, but also love to travel so hit us up with any visions or ideas you have anywhere in the world!
For somewhat local travel destinations, we especially love shooting in the American Southwest throughout Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. And the Pacific Northwest also calls to us (and is where Brittany is from), especially the Oregon Coast and Northern California's Redwoods.
Once we come up with our plan, we’ll develop a custom proposal that we’ll send to you where you can electronically sign the contract and make a payment directly through the online portal.
With Yosemite and the Eastern Sierra being our home area, there is no travel fee within 3 hours of Bishop, CA. For anywhere (or time such as Yosemite when Tioga Pass is closed) outside of our 3-hour radius, we’ll prepare a custom travel quote for you. We look forward to working with you!
